日本のカジュアルウェア服飾アパレルブランド「エフ商会」がプロダクトするアメカジレーベルがテッドマン(TEDMAN)です。

テッドマンのキャラクターの元祖はアメリカのTattoo(タトゥー)とされていますが、さらにさかのぼると大戦中の米軍の部隊のマスコット(レッドデビル)がルーツと言われています。悪運を吹き飛ばしラッキーを手に入れると言う神話は軍人が士気を高め、無事に帰還できる事を願った思いが込められていたようです。当時、このテッドマンのキャラクターのルーツである悪魔小僧のTATTOOが、口から噴き出す炎により、邪鬼を吹き飛ばし身に付けている者にラッキーを招く！と云う噂が伝承され、このTATTOOをバイカーやロッカーなどアングラ系の若者達がこぞって腕や肩に刺しました。これがテッドマンズの誕生秘話です。

テッドマンレーベルの主な製品は、テッドマン(ラッキーデビル)のキャラクターをベースに、ミリタリー、モーターサイクル、ワークなどアメリカンカジュアルスタイルのテイストをプラスして、シルエット、素材、ディテールは現代風にアレンジしたアメカジアイテムです。サイズは日本規格サイズで、タウンユース用としてスタイリッシュにご着用いただけますようにカスタマイズされています。

素材はコットン100%の良質なミディアムウェイト天竺生地です。ポロシャツによく使用される鹿の子生地ではなく、Tシャツに使用される天竺生地で、よりカジュアルな印象のポロシャツに仕上げられています。長年の洗濯や着用にも耐えるしっかりさと、しなやかさをあわせ持つ生地です。

この製品には、ウォッシュ加工がかけられています。そのため、程よいオールド感とヴィンテージ感が生まれ、クラシックな印象を与えるポロシャツに仕上げられています。また、ワンウォッシュですでに生地の縮みが発生しているので、洗濯後の縮みが少なくサイズ感が安定しているのも利点のひとつです。着用を繰り返すことで、生地がさらに馴染み、コットン特有の風合いと着心地の良い柔らかさが生まれてきます。

衿はフライスリブで切り替えられています。衿の内側には補強布テープが縫いつけられ、ネック部分が伸びるのを防ぐようにしています。

プラケットは2つボタンタイプで、ボタンには「EFU-CO-INC」刻印入りのオリジナルプラスチック4つ穴釦が使用されています。

袖口と裾はリブなしで、Tシャツと同じ仕様にされています。

左裾脇の縫い目には「TEDMAN」のピスネーム(飾りネームタグ)が縫い付けられています。
